The Millienials Entrepreneurs Summit was held on 21 November 2019 at the Cyprus Theatre Organisation in Nicosia, Cyprus. The Summit addressed the new generation of Cyprus business leaders. The event addressed the changes in corporate governance of Cyprus corporations, given the rise of the next generation to management positions. The objective of the Summit was to identify, inspire and engage the new business leaders in Cyprus.
The Summit provides a platform through interactive presentations and innovative speeches to enrich the entrepreneurial skills and knowledge of millennials. The keynote speaker of the event was Dex Torricke-Barton, Former Head of Communications for some of the most influential Silicon Valley Leaders and Corporations, including Google, Facebook and Space X. The Cyprus Depute Minister of Shipping, Natasa Pilides, also spoke about management and leadership in the public and private sectors.
Cyprus millennial entrepreneurs who are currently working in family-owned companies or who are self-made entrepreneurs running their own successful organisation will take over most of Cyprus businesses by 2030. The next ten years are crucial for such entrepreneurs, however, particularly given the key technological trends and their effect on branding, Digital Transformation, life and business.
The Summit successfully offered invaluable insights into the forthcoming changes in the business world of the next decade, with current and future generations ensuring the sustainable development of their organisations.
