The 5th International Funds Summit was held on 10 – 12 November 2019 the 5th at the Hilton Park Hotel in Nicosia. The Summit was organised by the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA), Invest Cyprus and IMH, under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Cyprus.
The Summit hosted leading fund managers and administration specialists who evaluated the changing competitive landscape in the asset management services sector, whilst collectively addressing the global industry trends, incentives, challenges and opportunities.
More than 500 delegates, including senior finance and investment professionals representing funds and asset management companies, investment banks, private equity firms and family offices based in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Asia, Russia and the US, attended the Summit.
The key topics of discussion at the Summit addressed the EU investment management industry, regulatory issues such as priorities and changes, asset management and investment policies, fintech, funds distribution and the evolving Cyprus funds industry.
The Summit was meticulously organised having the professionals’ needs in mind, with the objective of setting an appropriate environment to share knowledge and expertise through interactive panel discussions and presentations by high-calibre individuals. It offered a great opportunity to gain insight into the funds industry and its latest developments.
